Summary of the latest Representative Assembly meeting!

The latest Representative Assembly meeting took place Thursday, September 24. These meetings are open to the public and offer you, as a student, the chance to stay informed about what’s happening at SUS!

Highlights from the meeting:

‍ ‍SUS activity report

• The Presidium presented the activity report and gave an overview of the work on SUS’s priority advocacy issues. Among other things, they provided an update on SUS’s housing campaign for better student housing, which has been running since the start of the semester, as well as SUS’s operational plan for 2026/27.

• An update was also provided on membership development compared with the previous year, as well as on the start of the Autumn 2026 semester.

• Other matters

• For the first time since faculty councils and associations were given representation in the representative assembly, a faculty council submitted a motion: the Science Faculty Council (NFR).

• All proposals were approved.

• Several questions were raised during the meeting, and not a single member voted against any of the proposals.

• SUS once again has a full Executive Board.
