SUS is switching to Mecenat!

As we enter a new academic year, we do so with Mecenat as our proud partner and supplier of our new membership cards. As of July 1 2025, SUS members will receive their SUS membership card in Mecenat instead of Studentkortet (STUK). This means that during the fall semester 2025 Studentkortet (STUK) will no longer be valid as proof of membership in SUS.

The Mecenat card serves as both student ID and proof of SUS membership. The card will be available digitally directly in the Mecenat app!

– SUS sees several advantages with this, all of which are about us getting less hassle and more member benefits. Our members will recognize the digital card, in the most beautiful SUS pink color, comments Victor Nygren, SUS Vice President.

What does the change mean for you?

For members who already have an active membership in SUS or are registering for the fall semester 2025, the student card will be automatically issued by Mecenat. You as a student do not need to do anything special to switch. As long as you are registered as a student and become a member of SUS, you will receive your Mecenat card automatically.

Student discounts, offers and SL's reduced price will continue to be available, but via Mecenat's system! ❤️
