The opportunity to place yourself in the student housing queue and get an apartment through Stockholm's student housing (SSSB) is an exclusive benefit for student union members. This means that student union membership is required for everyone who is in the housing queue or wants to sign a contract for a student housing.

From the moment you join the housing queue, you have 90 days to pay your student union membership and verify yourself as a student. Once you are a member, you must register yourself in SSSB's housing queue.

As soon as you have paid your union membership fee and we have received information about your registration at the University, we will verify you against SSSB’s student housing queuing system. For the verification to work, it is important that you register the same email address with both SUS and SSSB student housing.

SSSB student housing has over 8,000 student apartments available around Stockholm and students sign new contracts for almost 4,000 of these apartments every year. Their student apartments are located in about thirty different places around Stockholm.
